We partnered with Target to spotlight Houston White, a North Minneapolis designer with an exclusive multiyear collection at Target. His aesthetic blends timeless American style with Afrocentric, futuristic design rooted in heritage and self-expression. We reframed golf as a space for style, skill, and belonging, centering Black women and expanding who the sport sees.
The challenge was capturing Black women discovering golf for the first time, not as outsiders, but as style leaders embracing fashion, confidence, and identity on the course.
The outcome delivered triple utility. The fellowship gained a promotional film and a multi-channel asset system. Fellows walked away with portfolio-ready work and documented learning. Partners received a replicable production-curriculum model that can scale with future cohorts.
